Every day our sweet village amazes us more and more, and it's because of WHO not what or why. Today, we want to share a little extra lovin' on Allie Rose, one of our FIT4MOM South Valley instructors. Allie is a mama to Addie (4) Charlie (2) and Benjamin (4 MO), wife/partner to Barrett. Fun fact; her husband bought her a violin for Christmas because one of her life goals is to be able to play The Devil Went Down to Georgia on the fiddle. She's been teaching within our village for two years, and we are so grateful to have her part of our FIT4MOM family! When a woman becomes a mother, we often forget who she was before motherhood. Isn't it funny how tummy-time and breastfeeding or baby babbles and bottle warmings suddenly "define" who we are as a human postpartum? That's why we're vowing to share real mamas within our communities, both inside and outside of mamahood. Today, we want you to meet the beautiful Lluvia Rose, who has been part of our FIT4MOM South Valley village since May 2016, but is also mama to Nia and Omi, spouse to Josh. Before joining our village and before having babies, Lluvia taught preschool for 14 years! Today she keeps herself busy with her own photography business. We are SO proud of our local mama Shawna. She has been a part of FIT4MOM South Valley since September 2017 and today, we're sharing her #transformation for #transformationtuesday! After having a baby Shawna weighed more than she wanted to weigh and her depression and anxiety were at an all time high. She decided she was going to start exercising and she started by walking from her house to a local park every day. One day she noticed our class at the park and was approached by one of our instructors and the rest is history. Since then she has continued to see amazing results through consistent class attendance and also our #bodyback program. While her weight loss and toning may be impressive, what's more important is the wellness journey she's been on inside and out. She has been the best example of how determination and hard work will get you the results that you want. Did you know today is #NationalBeanDay? Yeah, there really is a national day for everything, isn't there?! Beans are a great source of protein as well as packed with vitamins and minerals. Beans are really affordable and can be used in many different dishes, from appetizers, dinner dishes, and even desserts! (Yes, really; and you'd never know!)
